(September 6 – 17:20 ET) -The Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) has launched its new Web site. The redesigned Web site makes it easier for the financial industry and other stakeholders to access information about the regulation and supervision of Canada’s federally regulated financial institutions and pension plans.

John Palmer, Superintendent of Financial Institutions, said the redesigned Web site “reflects how OSFI is changing to meet the challenges of fulfilling its mandate while keeping pace with a very dynamic financial industry in Canada and around the globe.

“Our new Web site takes better advantage of this unique medium’s power to make information readily available to our audiences and demonstrates OSFI’s commitment to providing professional, high-quality and cost-effective service,” Palmer added.
