Opus 2 Financial Inc. has announced its intention to terminate the Opus 2 Canada Plus Balanced Fund, effective on December 31.

According to the company, the interests of unitholders would be best served by terminating the fund. It says the size of the fund no longer allows for economical operations.

All expenses arising from the termination will be borne by Opus 2, manager of the fund.

Unitholders may switch their units at no cost to the Opus 2 Ambassador Balanced RSP Portfolio which has a similar investment mandate to the Canada Plus Fund.
