Toronto-based insurance industry consulting firm LOGiQ3 Inc. has announced the appointment of Raymond DiDonna as CEO of its core reinsurance administration and underwriting business, LOGiQ3 Corp.
DiDonna is currently senior vice president and chief operating officer of mL3 global life, a start-up joint venture between LOGiQ3 and msg global solutions, Inc. that provides insurance business consulting and software application integration services. DiDonna’s appointment took effect April 1.
As LOGiQ3 Corp.’s new CEO, DiDonna will focus on establishing strategic direction to ensure consistent revenue and income growth. This will include efforts to improve operational efficiencies and develop high-performing teams and professionals.
With the recent acquisition of Tindall Associates Inc. (TAI) under a joint venture with msg global solutions, LOGiQ3 Inc. now operates four independent businesses: LOGiQ3 Corp., TAI, APEXA Corp., and mL3 global life.
Chris Murumets, co-founder and former CEO of LOGiQ3 Corp., has been appointed CEO of APEXA, a Canadian life insurance advisor screening, contracting, and compliance service.

Simon Bell, co-founder of LOGiQ3, will continue his role as chief operating officer of LOGiQ3 Corp.
“After 10 years, our start-up company is no longer a start-up. Our core reinsurance administration and underwriting business requires dedicated focus and attention from a distinctive leader, which Ray is perfectly suited for,” said Murumets. “I will focus on APEXA for the mid-term and continue to seek future opportunities and synergies for the LOGiQ3 group.”
“I am honoured and humbled to join LOGiQ3 as its new CEO,” DiDonna said. “I have been working closely with LOGiQ3 in an advisory capacity over the past 18 months and see the great potential this company has and am ready to lead the team through their next phase of growth. LOGiQ3 has a unique company culture and plays a prominent role in the North American life insurance market and beyond, so joining provides me a fantastic opportunity to become a member of an important industry asset.”
DiDonna, a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, has been in the insurance and reinsurance businesses for more than 30 years. He previously held executive roles at the Hartford Insurance Group and General Electric.
