Zurich Financial Services Group reports that Robert Landry will retire as head of its Canadian operations at the end of the year. Alister Campbell, previously senior vp at ING, will be appointed chief agent and CEO for Zurich Insurance Co. in Canada, subject to board and regulatory approval.

“Canada remains an important market to Zurich as we continue to focus on delivering more of what our customers and producers really value — a broad range of products and services to suit their specific and ever-changing risk management needs,” said Steve Rand, head of Zurich’s Commercial Markets unit, in a release.

“I want to thank Robert for his many years of dedicated service to Zurich, and wish him a long and rewarding retirement,” noted Axel Lehmann, CEO of Zurich North America Commercial.
