On World Mental Health Day, a U.K. financial industry trade group is seeking to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues in the financial sector.

The U.K.’s Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) has launched a new mental health support portal, which provides information and resources designed to help financial industry personnel deal with mental health concerns.

The group said the new portal aims to help cultivate healthier minds in the financial services sector, provide access to mental health resources and encourage people to speak out about mental health issues.

The portal also provides information for managers on creating healthy work environments.

“It is our aim with our mental health portal to support the conversation around mental health for those in the financial services profession, to end the stigma of speaking on these issues and provide a platform to support the important, brave and moving stories from individuals who have been affected by ill mental health in our sector,” Simon Culhane, CEO of CISI, said in a statement.
