Financial advisors and wholesalers who use the CapIntel platform now have access to planning software from Winnipeg-based Conquest Planning Inc.

The two wealthtech firms announced their partnership Wednesday, which will make Conquest’s software available to the more than 12,000 advisors who use Toronto-based CapIntel Inc.’s platform.

“Recognizing the complementary nature of Conquest and CapIntel’s solutions, a strategic integration was a natural opportunity to provide advisors and end investors with an enhanced financial planning experience,” said Rob Crnkovic, chief revenue officer and co-founder of CapIntel, in a statement.

“Through this integration, we aim to improve efficiency and streamline advisors’ delivery of exceptional customer experiences in Canada and beyond,” said Brad Joudrie, chief revenue officer with Conquest.

Clients of CapIntel include BMO Global Asset Management, BMO Insurance, IG Wealth Management, MD Private Investment Counsel, Quadrus Investment Services Ltd. and PPI.

Conquest’s software is currently used by firms such as Canaccord Genuity, Canada Life, IG Wealth Management, RBC, Sun Life and Wellington-Altus.
