Global consulting firm Capgemini and industry trade group Efma have launched FinTechVisor, a platform that aims to create a world-wide networking community for financial technology firms and financial institutions, the two organizations announced on Thursday.

Among other things, the portal allows bankers and insurers to rate fintechs and comment on the products and services they’re developing.

It also offers a “matchmaker” function that aims to help financial institutions find appropriate fintech partners and a messaging feature that allows firms to connect through the platform

The platform is also planning to roll out a content hub to collect fintech news and trends.

“As the financial sector undergoes significant transformation, the vision of the FinTechVisor portal is to create a single point of contact where all players can find their place and be a part of the future,” says William Sullivan, head of market intelligence at Capgemini, in a statement.

“With so many new players offering innovation, traditional financial services organizations need a method to sort through the clutter to find the innovative fintech partner that is the best match to transform their business,” he adds.
