TD is moving the approximately 24,000 members of its TD Future Builders RSP program to Canada Life, the company said Tuesday.

On March 19 Canada Life will take over the program currently managed by TD Asset Management (TDAM), which consists of roughly 1,800 group plans.

“We believe Canada Life will deliver a strong group retirement and savings experience that supports the needs of TD Future Builder business customers and their employees, while allowing TDAM to focus on its core business of bringing innovative thinking and solutions to investors,” TDAM CEO Bruce Cooper said in a statement.

Canada Life vice-president Michael Henderson said TD’s clients would benefit from his firm’s digital platforms and one-on-one support.
