John Victor “Vic” Rogers, founder of Calgary’s Rogers and Partners Securities Inc., succumbed to prostate cancer on March 29. He was 72-years-old.
Rogers spent his entire business career in the investment business, beginning with Nesbitt Thompson in Montreal; transferring with NT to London, Ont., then to Calgary, where he eventually started Rogers and Partners Securities. He particularly enjoyed financing small companies.

Funeral Service will be held at Christ Church Elbow Park, 3602 – 8th St. S.W., Calgary on Sat. April 1, 2006, at 11:00 a.m.
A memorial service of thanksgiving and celebration will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, 280 St. James St, London, Ont. on Sat. April 8 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception in the Parish Hall.
