(September 18 – 09:30 ET) – Royal Investment Services and Globe Interactive today announced an alliance to provide clients of RBC Dominion Securities and Royal Bank Action Direct with online access to breaking news stories from globeandmail.com, as well as mutual fund and equity information.

Clients of RBC DS and Action Direct now have access to First Call earnings estimates and analyst recommendations along with breaking business news from globeandmail.com and press releases from newswire agencies. Quarterly and annual financial results are available for over 9,000 North American companies. Customizable charts allow users to monitor both their stocks and mutual funds.

Clients of RBC DS will use a new service called RBC DS Online which is currently being piloted in select markets. RBC DS Online is a free service that consolidates full service brokerage, self-service brokerage, cash management account, and banking information online. It will also provide a range of services including: detailed real time quotes; access to third party U.S. equity research; and RBC DS internationally acclaimed research. Action Direct Clients will access the Globe sites through a service called NetAction.
