Rockwater Capital Corporation announced today the appointment of Colman A. O’Brien as head of wealth management for First Associates Investments Inc.

First Associates Investments Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rockwater Capital Corporation. It serves individual and institutional clients through its Wealth Management, Asset Management and Capital Markets Divisions.

O’Brien leaves the position of vice chairman at BayStreetDirect Inc., where he was an original founder. Prior to that, he was managing director and senior vice president of TD Evergreen, the full service brokerage arm of TD Canada Trust.

“Colman is a highly accomplished professional who has built enormous trust with his clients over his career in the investment community,” said William Packham, president and CEO of Rockwater Capital Corp, in a press release. “He is the right person to lead the significant, planned growth in the wealth management division of First Associates.”

O’Brien said his first priority is to “recruit outstanding investment professionals for our wealth management operation and offer them an environment in which they can perform best for their clients. We are building a national presence for our wealth management services.”
