(September 28 – 09:30 ET) – It is time for Canadians to reap the benefits of years of fiscal restraint, says the chair of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.


The CICA is launching a lobby campaign that urges the federal government to cut taxes by $3.5 billion, announced Guylaine Saucier at the opening session of the Canadian Tax Foundation’s annual conference yesterday.


Her announcement met with rousing approval from the 800 tax lawyers and accountants gathered in Montreal for the event.
