TSX Markets has seen a couple of brokerage firms give up their status as participating organizations.

The TSX reports that it has received confirmation that the final audit of the affairs of Nomura Canada Inc. has been completed, and accordingly TSX Markets has approved its voluntary surrender effective August 7.

Also, TSX Markets confirmed that Watt Carmichael Inc. has voluntarily surrendered its status as a participating organization of the TSX.

And, DLJ Canada Inc. has changed its name to Westwind Partners Inc.
