(December 11 – 11:40 ET) – BMO Nesbitt Burns is pleased to announce that Charles Prioleau has been appointed executive managing director, Houston, and head of U.S. energy – oil and gas.

Prioleau joins a team of 18 corporate finance professionals dedicated solely to the North American energy sector with offices in Houston, Calgary, New York and Toronto.

Previously, Prioleau was with PaineWebber, where he was managing director, integrated energy and power group and manager of its Houston investment banking office.

His background includes over 13 years of experience in the investment banking industry, including positions with Kidder Peabody & Co. and J.P. Morgan & Co., as well as merchant banking experience with Enron Corp.

Prioleau holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a BA in Chemistry from Washington and Lee University. His specialization is within the energy sector, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance origination.
