Allstate Insurance Co. of Canada says that the retirement Gary Moroney is retiring as vice president, claims. John Greb will succeed Moroney in the position.
Greb began his insurance career with Allstate in 1977, and worked in the operations and systems department before joining the claims department in 1986. During 12 years in claims, he succeeded to the positions of market claims manager and senior corporate claims development manager.
With Allstate Corp.’s acquisition of Pafco in 1998, Greb assumed responsibility as leader of the Pafco integration team. Out of Pafco, Pembridge Insurance Company was launched in 1999. Greb was subsequently promoted to vice president of insurance operations at Pembridge, responsible for underwriting and policy processing for both Pembridge and Pafco brands.
“We will greatly miss Gary’s experience and expertise but will benefit from his building of a strong Claims department,” said Michael Haskell, president and CEO, Allstate Insurance Co. of Canada.
Greb graduated from Wilfred Laurier University and holds the CIP designation.
