Kendra Thompson

Kendra Thompson
Head of Wealth Management, North America, Accenture

Kendra has over 18 years of broker-dealer experience and is a leading expert on hybrid-advisory and big data trends in the wealth management industry. In her current role, she directs the vision and strategy for Accenture’s North America wealth management practice, focusing on business, technology and operations strategies. Kendra joined Accenture in 2007 as a manager with a focus on large process transformation, customer strategy and CRM in capital markets. Prior to joining Accenture, she held similar roles in strategy and marketing at financial services firms in Canada, Australia and the UK. Kendra also has extensive experience with post-merger integration and distribution strategy for retail banking and brokerage, and brings front office expertise to complex change situations in financial services. Kendra is a frequent author, speaker and contributor to industry associations on the topic of digital revolutions in financial firms. She holds a BA in Industrial Relations from McGill University and an MBA from Open University in the UK.



Andrew Clee

Andrew Clee, CFA, CMT
Vice President, Exchange Traded Funds, Fidelity Canada

Andrew is responsible for developing Fidelity’s ETF strategy and is the subject-matter expert for Fidelity Canada’s ETFs. With 8 years of industry experience, Andrew was previously a lead portfolio manager at Raymond James Ltd. on portfolios using both active and passive strategies. In addition, Andrew created and authored the Raymond James Technically Speaking report, which used quantitative screening techniques to identify companies with exposure to certain quantitative factors such as dividend yield, value, momentum and growth. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Guelph as well as Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Market Technician designations.



Trevor Cummings

Head of Business Development, Exchange Traded Funds, RBC Global Asset Management

Trevor is responsible for growing the asset base of RBC’s ETF offering, including spearheading business initiatives in relation to ongoing support and education for this innovative suite of investment solutions. Trevor has 20 years of experience in the financial industry and has been directly involved in ETFs since 2005. For eight years, he worked at the largest ETF provider in Canada. Before joining RBC GAM at the beginning of 2014, he was Vice President of Business Development for six years. He holds an Economics degree from the University of Toronto and has completed the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation, offered by the Investments & Wealth Institute and The Wharton School.



Pat Dunwoody

Pat is currently the Executive Director of the Canadian ETF Association, which was the first ETF association in the world and currently only one of two. She has spent over 35 years in the financial services industry as a client- and relationship-focused executive with an in-depth background in all aspects of the industry. She continues to be an active member on many industry committees, including those at CCMA, IFIC and Fundserv. Pat is also actively involved in her community as the Chair of Community Living Dufferin, Board Member at Prosper Canada and Board Member at Clarady Alliance Foundation. She lives in the village of Orton, Ont. with her husband.



Naseem Husain

Naseem Husain, P.Eng, CIM, FCSI
ETF Capital Markets Specialist, Exchange Traded Funds, RBC Global Asset Management

Naseem is the primary contact for the ETF trading community at RBC Global Asset Management. He manages relationships with market makers, index providers, vendors and the exchanges in addition to serving as a subject matter expert on markets, trading and industry developments. He is tasked with improving the trading ecosystem for RBC ETFs. Naseem has 12 years of experience at RBC, 11 of which are as a trader and ETF analyst with RBC Capital Markets. Prior to joining RBC, he was a professional engineer at a leading technology firm. Naseem holds two engineering degrees from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. He is also a Chartered Investment Manager and a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute.

Hugh began his career in 1989 as a researcher at Ontario Place, and he has concentrated in the last two decades on research within the financial services industry. Immediately prior to joining Credo at the beginning of 2007, Hugh was the vice president of financial services research at Environics Research Group. Before Environics he spent four years as a research consultant with Ernst and Young’s Center for Business Knowledge where he began his ongoing pursuit of the CFA designation. Hugh holds a BComm in marketing and consumer behaviour from the University of Guelph and an MBA from Dalhousie University. Hugh’s knowledge, experience and expertise are well suited to expand the quantitative and qualitative research solutions that Credo provides to the company’s broad base of Canada’s financial industry clients.
