(February 15 – 08:55 ET) – Jean Dumont is replacing Russ Isaac as chief executive officer of BRM Capital Corp.

Isaac has resigned as CEO and director of BRM, and he has also left his position as president and director of BRM subsidiary, Great Pacific Management Co. Ltd. He has been replaced at BRM by Dumont, who is already chairman of BRM and president of BRM majority shareholder Cartier Capital Limited Partnership. Michael Nott, previously Great Pacific’s executive vice president, has been appointed president of Great Pacific.

BRM is planning to change its name to Cartier Partners Financial Group Inc. Cartier Capital LP is controlled by its operating partners. Its financial partner is Services financiers CDP, a subsidiary of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec.

Isaac founded Vancouver-based Great Pacific in 1965. He grew the company to more than 400 financial advisors, mainly in B.C. but also in Alberta, Ontario and the Yukon.
