The Canada Customs and Revenue Agency (CCRA) has unveiled a new service, which allows individuals to view or change their home address, mailing address, and phone numbers in a secure and confidential environment. The privacy of client data is of the utmost importance to the CCRA. Vigorous security methods such as
encryption and firewall technology are used to safeguard personal information.
If a taxpayer has moved or is planning to move, he or she should let the CCRA know immediately to avoid delays in receiving their future benefit payments such as the goods and services tax/harmonized sales tax credit, the Canada Child Tax Benefit, and related provincial and territorial benefits and credits.
