Veteran advisor, Thane Stenner, is stepping down from his role as managing director of the Canadian branch of TIGER 21, the networking organization for high-net worth investors.

TIGER 21 announced that Stenner, a founding member of TIGER 21 Canada, will be vacating his role to focus on his advisory practice, StennerZohny Investment Partners+ of Richardson GMP Ltd. He will remain a member of its Vancouver group and will become its chairman emeritus.

“I have found that the increasingly demanding and active role within my national family office advisory practice requires me to hand over the managerial duties to the capable hands within TIGER 21,” Stenner said.

His managerial duties at TIGER 21 will be assumed by various people, including its new chief of field operations, Greg Wells, who will oversee all of the group’s chairs in Canada and the U.S.

Stenner helped launch TIGER 21’s Canadian branch in 2011. The Canadian groups now have 45 members. Overall, the organization has over 300 members, who control more than $30 billion in personal investable assets.
