Oaks, Penn.-based SEI Investments Co.’s Toronto-based Canadian division has appointed Rachel Volynsky as portfolio manager in the firm’s Canadian equities team.
Volynsky will oversee the management of the firm’s Canadian equity strategies and report to Jason Collins, global head of equity portfolio management in the investment-management unit at SEI.
“Rachel’s breadth of investment experience brings incredible value to SEI as we continue to focus on building awareness in our global markets,” says Kevin Barr, executive vice president and head of the investment-management unit at SEI.
Before joining SEI, Volynsky, who has more than 21 years of industry experience, served as fund manager and head of fundamental research at Calvert Investment Management, at which she managed the firm’s global-value and global-equity income mutual funds.
Volynsky also had stints as a portfolio manager for the institutional group at Invesco Trimark and TD Asset Management, and as a senior investment analyst for the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board.
