Marquest Asset Management Inc. Tuesday announced that Cassels Investment Management Inc. will become the portfolio sub-advisor of Marquest Monthly Pay Fund and Marquest Monthly Pay Fund (Corporate Class) effective immediately. Both firms are based in Toronto.
Liis Palmer and Rob Cassels, portfolio managers at Cassels, will assume the portfolio management responsibilities for the funds, which were previously managed internally by Marquest.
Palmer and Cassels have collectively over 50 years of experience in the investment industry and are the investment managers of tMarquest Tax Deferred Income Fund and have been since inception.
Marquest and Cassels will work closely together to ensure a seamless transition of the portfolio management of the Funds.
