The Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) will be holding a hearing on Jan. 18 to seek an order to suspend All Group Financial Services Inc., a small Toronto-based dealer that is in the process of selling its assets and winding up operations.

Toronto-based Hampton Financial Corp. announced on Jan. 12 that it had reached a deal to acquire All Group Financial Services’ wealth-management business, including its client assets, and transfer its client accounts and certain advisors to Hampton Securities Ltd. The transfer is scheduled to be completed by Jan. 20

All Group Financial Financial Services, an introducing broker with two branches, became capital deficient as of Jan. 3; on Jan. 6, the firm informed IIROC that it intends to resign from the SRO once the deal with Hampton is completed.
