Fiera makes changes to its management team

Frederick Chenel, vice president, consultant relations and business development, institutional markets, with Montreal-based Fiera Capital Corp. has been appointed as president of CFA Montreal.

“I am happy to accept this position in which I will be able to contribute to the development of CFA Montreal, a 67-year-old organization that boasts more than 2,500 members,” says Chenel in a statement. “We are in the thick of Montreal’s financial scene and plan to continue our efforts to enhance member services, promote Montreal’s development as a major financial centre and raise its profile.”

“I am confident that Frederick’s rigour and dedication will stand him in good stead as president of CFA Montreal,” notes Jean-Philippe Lemay, president, chief operating officer and chief investment officer of Fiera’s Canadian division, in a statement. “At Fiera Capital, we support any member of our personnel who wants to obtain the CFA certification and we recognize the importance of CFA Montreal’s strategic mission.”
